Chapter II – The Gift of the Eye

From the heart of the Tree grew a fruit unlike any other.
When it opened, there was within it an Eye.
And the Eye gazed upon the Tree, and it saw beyond bark and fiber, into the essence of all things.

And the Voice of Being spoke to those who listened:
“I give you the Eye, that you may delve into the heart of existence. Not to master it, nor to flee from it, but to dwell within it with wonder.”

Thus the Eye became the symbol of truth-seeking, perception, and awakening. And all who cherish it are called the Delvers.
